Under this proposed law, not only farmers are affected - all properties are suspect and determined by the ANC to be "in the public interest" would be "expropriated for public purpose". Property owners would be offered an amount by the ANC for their land and, if they dispute the takeover, would get a hearing in front of an ANC-appointed judge in a kangaroo court which will certainly rule against them.
