The Borevolk, tired of the never-ending human rights violations perpetrated daily against our people, have decided to have a Volk Protest Parade so the South African government and the world can realize that the Volk is saying: “we have had enough of this!!”
The parade will not be associated with any organization. Instead, the Volk ask all people who have suffered under the so-called "New" South Africa regime to bring banners or posters to protest against human rights violations as they have experienced. You are also welcome to show the name of your organization if you want to.
Hand over your own protest letter to the President or his representative at the Union Buildings; organizations will have an opportunity to make a short speech (3 to 5 minutes).
The parade will begin 07:30 AM, from The Show grounds, Gate P7 from Church Street. It has been reserved for this rally for the weekend from Friday 17th to Sunday 19th, and members of the Volk can come and camp there for free. Facilities are very good.
From The Show Grounds, the rally will move past Church Square, down Vermeulen Street tot Du Toit Street, back to Church Street, and then to the Union Buildings. Members of the Volk will travel on foot, ride on motorcyles, horses, as well as trailers pulled by trucks and tractors. There will be mobile toilets, ambulance services, and a water cart which will move with the parade.
Participants are advised to:
- Bring folding chairs/cushions to sit on if you want to ride in a trailer’
- Bring FLAGS. As many as possible.
- Make boards with slogans of your choice. No vulgar language or hate speech will be allowed.
Let us prove that we can do this action TOGETHER!!
As soon as the proceedings at the Union Buildings have been completed, the parade will return to the show grounds. You are welcome to camp there for the weekend Proper Bushveld firewood will be provided.
"Section 235 of the South African Constitution does not, within the framework of the right to self-determination, prohibit the right to self-determination of any community that shares a common cultural and linguistic heritage, from being exercised within a territorial entity within the Republic, or from being acknowledged by national legislation.
The Constitutional Court has ruled:
"Proponents of a Volkstaat are free to campaign for political and constitutional changes which would result in the forms of self-determination which they consider appropriate being brought about and institutionalized"
The hour-glass is empty. Please bring (or send us) your grievances on paper. Now is the time to present them.
