Last April, Marxist Dictator THUG Robert Mugabe suspended counting of returns from a presidential ballot that likely would kick him out off office after nearly 30 years of one “man” rule, proving what we on Hello, Africa! have been saying all along: Zimbabwe is really Communist-Occupied Rhodesia!

The last 3 months have seen a diplomatic tap dance break out between the various political interests involved, in an effort to have free and open elections held in Communist Occupied Rhodesia. Mu-garbage, as our groot friend Henry from South Africa calls him, has told England to “stuff it” and a repeat election was held, this time with only Mu-garbage on the ballot. Of course, he won.

Returning to "Hello, Africa"'s airwaves is Eric Harris, who first appeared on our show when the crisis in Communist Occupied Rhodesia first broke out. Here, to give us the latest on what’s going on, live from behind enemy lines, is Eric Harrison.

Zim Crisis, Week Two: From Behind Enemy Lines

The political crisis in Communist Occupied Rhodesia, aka Zimbabwe, continues for its second week as Marxist Thug Robert Mugabe clings to power after losing democratic elections. After nearly 30 years as dictator, Mugabe’s regime has not yet released full results of the election, and is crying “racism” against long-vanquished colonial power Great Britain, which includes using the few-remaining White farmers in Communist-Occupied Rhodesia as scapegoats.

Returning to our airwaves from last week is Eric Harris, who is on the ground in Harare, to give us a report behind enemy lines.

Zimbabwe Crisis

Hello, Africa!

The World Service of The Right Perspective goes north of the Limpopo this week, covering the unfolding crisis that has unfolded in Zimbabwe, formerly Rhodesia.

Last Sunday, Zimbabwean police broke up a peaceful prayer vigil held by the Christian Alliance of Zimbabwe. In what has become the most brutal crackdown on opposition groups in Zimbabwe in quite some time, police descended upon gatherers who came to pray on their traditional day of worship, weilding clubs, throwing tear gas and shooting bullets.

One person, Mr. Gift Tandare, Youth Chairperson of the National Constitutional Assembly, was shot and killed by police. Later, Zimbabwean officials referred to Mr. Tandare as a "thug".

Several others were beaten and arrested, including Movement for Democratic Change (MDC) leader Morgan Tsvangarai. The beating of Mr. Tsvangarai, who was imprisioned for a period of time without medical treatment and access to legal counsel, has sparked outrage by the international community.

The question remains: What will happen to Zimbabwe?

Gerry Jackson, Station Manager of the Independant Voice of Zimbabwe, gives us more background on the new crisis and fills us in on what is going on in Zimbabwe, formerly Rhodesia.
