Ilana Mercer Interview

Hello, Africa!

The Right Perspective speaks to Ilana Mercer, a US-based libertarian writer whose weekly column, "Return to Reason," is published by WorldNetDaily, the most popular conservative news site on the Internet.

Ilana was born in South Africa, where her father, Rabbi Ben Isaacson, was forced to flee the country for Israel in the 1960s due to his anti-apartheid activism. After returning to South Africa in the 1980's, Ilana has since left and now uses her pen a weapon against the so-called "New" South Africa and the various Marxist regimes that neighbor the country of her birth.

Ilana is also an analyst and commentator for Free-Market News Network, founded by one-time libertarian presidential candidate, the late Harry Browne. Ilana's work has also appeared on Antiwar.com, VDARE.COM, and FrontPageMagazine.com. Ilana's work can be found at her own website, ilanamercer.com.

Fabio Pollenghi Interview

Hello, Africa!

Fabio Pollenghi, chief photographer for Vanity Fair Magazine, talks about his recent trip to South Africa, his experiences with the Boere, and the great cover up by the ANC Communist regime of the crime problem going on in South Africa.

Being a photographer, Fabio did not write the article himself, but does say the Vanity Fair article was harshly critical of the ANC for letting the country fall apart, and apparently was so damning of the ANC that the government had to address the article and attack Vanity Fair for publishing it.

While downplaying the situation of the Boere in South Africa, Fabio does say the anti-Apartheid rhetoric of the 1980's came from left-leaning governments in Europe and countries to draw attention away from "racist" criticism being lobbied at them at the time. Fabio also also says that, based on his being in SA and seeing the situation over there, the ANC would not able to provide adequate security for the World Cup games coming up and that tourists today face a big problem for their personal safety when they go there. This economic interest is the reason why the ANC does not want the world to know about the security breakdown in SA.
