Last year, Mnr. Dries Kriel appeared on "Hello, Africa!" to discuss the Boervolk Freedom Foundation's May 1st event at the Women's Monument in Bloemfontein.Last month, Mnr. Kriel passed away on April 6th unexpectedly from a heart attack. He was 63.
In this exclusive interview with The Right Perspective's "Hello, Africa!", Mnr. Kriel's daughter Christine remembers her father, who activism began during his days in the SADF and led him to be involved with the AWB and other organisations. Also an award-winning poet, Christine reads some of her father's poetry, which woke many to the continuing struggle of the Boervolk in South Africa.
