Hello, Africa!

Author Adriaan Snyman speaks about Nicolaas Pieter Johannes "Siener" van Rensburg (1860 - 1927), a Boer from the South African Republic -also known as the Transvaal Republic- and later a citizen of South Africa who is seen by some as a prophet. Siener was a nickname and means "seer" or "soothsayer" in Afrikaans. Van Rensburg made several predictions, including the death of Koos de la Rey, a general in the Second Boer War, and the start of World War I.
Van Rensburg was known to have fought in the second Anglo-Boer War without the use of a gun.
